Additional Information

When you're wearing these Georgia Muddog work boots, you'll appreciate the softness and durability of the quality brown full-grain leather. You're really going to like the molded TPU shell; it's waterproof, protects against abrasions and allows you to slop through the mud without worrying that the leather upper will be harmed. Pull tabs and finger holes help you get these round-toe work boots on without any difficulty.

Georgia Muddog boots are built to comply with the ASTM F2413-05 I/75 C/75 Protective Toe Classification and the ASTM F2413-05 Electrical Hazard Standard. To give you an idea of how much protection you will receive from this pull-on work boot, even when it has been subjected to 75 lbs. of impact and compression, its steel toe is able to hold up.

The mesh lining of these men's work boots has been made from a lightweight material; you won't have to worry about it feeling cumbersome; plus this material is able to wick away moisture. To keep your feet comfortable, Georgia inserted a Comfort Core® insole; its cushioning will comfort your feet and help absorb shock. It also has an Air Flow System that pushes air up through the insole to keep your feet dry, comfortable and cool.

Apart from its resistance to abrasions, chemicals, heat and oils that allows it to hold up well, the Phoenix rubber outsole also supplies cushioning and flexibility.

The work boots are comfortable, are built with great safety features and are durable. When you're looking for new work footwear, these Georgia Muddog Pull-On Steel Toe Work Boots are an excellent choice!

    Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
    Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to retard conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
    SPR® Leather
SPR™ Leather resists caustic alkali, sulfuric acid, calcium hydroxide, potassium phosphate, caustic potash, and other barnyard acids. It's also pasture-proof.

Georgia Boot Muddog Steel Toe Wellington Work Boot is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 58.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mink Oil I have had 2 pairs of these boots so far. I am fixin to buy my third pair now. The only problem I have had with these boots is on the first pair. After about a year and a half the seams busted where the leather and rubber meet. On the second pair I used mink oil on all leather and rubber once a week. I also coated the seams that were likely to bust with a very, very heavy coat of mink oil. This allowed me another 6 months of life from the boot before I absolutely had to buy another pair. I am an electrician and do alot of underground conduit work. For a boot to last 2 years for me is amazing. Also would not mind seeing this boot with a composite non-conductive toe for us hardworking electricians out here.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 8th pair or Mud Dog Boots. I would just like to thank all the good people involved on my latest Georgia Boot purchase. I have been a long time customer and fan of your quality products. I work in the woodworking industry as a Service Engineer for a company that sells the highest quality moulders, grinders, and finger joint machines money can buy. So as you can imagine, traveling all over the country is part of daily life. I have also had the privilege of being a field service technician all my life. This is the 8th pair of quality boots I have purchased. These boots have withstood the harsest work environments that North America has to offer. Sincerest Thankfulness and Gratitude to all who have been apart of this great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Boots These boots are the best boots I have ever worn. They aren't heavy, and also they are super comfortable. I work in the HVAC industry, so I'm up and down ladders, and stuff always falling on them. No boot has lasted me this long. Also when you buy the boot, the initial fit up is very tight. At first I didn't want to wear them, because they were so tight fitting, but after you break them in, they are amazing. So my advice is don't buy a bigger size when the boot is right or snug, because if you do that, once the boot is broken in, the boot will be to big

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and durable I am looking for my third pair. I have tried all sorts of brands of boots and havent found any to be as comfortable as these boots. I get about a year n a half out of them. The only reason I cant get 2+ years is they rub on cable on the bottom of the souls for a year and a half. I am in mud and sewer water all day. They are always dry.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not so good I ordered these boots on April 6, 2016 and received them April 11, 2016. At first they were great, but because of the lower part being rubber, that made them hard to break in. During the break in process, the rubber part is so hard they caused me to get bunions on both feet. But I overlooked it. I really wanted these boots to work out. After some time they finally became more comfortable. Over the last couple of weeks, the inner liner has torn and makes it extremely difficult to get my foot out of the boot. Then to top it all off, today, August 10, 2016, I squatted down to pick something up and the seam between the leather and rubber busted open. I really wanted these boots to work out, but I don't think I would buy these again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic boot. Well worth the money. I have had three pairs of these with each pair lasting around a year and a half. I am in the industrial construction business, walking on either concrete or steel all day long. Completely waterproof up to the day I retire them, after the lining has worn out and the heals start getting holes worn into the sole. As I said these are fantastic. It is just a shame that Academy has quit selling them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best boots I have had I dont usually write reviews, but this is an outstanding boot. I just purchased my second pair. These are superb quality boots. I am most impressed with the way they remain waterproof for their entire lifespan. I work on wind turbines, which involves climbing a 200 foot ladder everyday. I appreciate the steel shank which really helps on ladder rungs or uneven surfaces. Super comfortable and long lasting, although not the lightest boot around. This is the boot I will get from now on.
