Additional Information

Training with Confidence, Courage, Commitment and Comfort. The Rocky® C4T Trainer Military Duty Boot is the lightest military performance boot Rocky has ever made. Designed for rigorous training, the Rocky C4T is a game changer.

The boot's lightweight EVA/rubber outsole resists anything you can throw at it: slips, oils, heat, abrasions, chemicals and metal chips.

Helping you focus on the task at hand, this is water-resistant and fast-drying military boot. You have work to do and can't be distracted by wet boots. The Rocky C4T keeps up.

Lacing may seem minor to some, but it's important when your day consists of rigorous work. There's no time to waste and long-lasting laces are a must, so Rocky designed this military boot with speed eyelets and NATO hooks through which you can pull your 550 cord laces.

The Rocky C4T Trainer allows you to move light-footed while providing outstanding support.

This round-toe boot has no metal parts.

The C4T does not meet the requirements of AR 670-1 or DA PAM 670-1.

    Non-metallic
Constructed using no metal material or parts. Perfect for working environments that require passing through metal detectors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from (Was) One of my favorite garrison boots Purchased these boots a couple years ago after finishing basic. They're lightweight and pretty comfortable. After breaking them in, they were my favorite garrison boot. Now, they're no longer AR 670-1 compliant so, oh well. A GREAT boot to buy if you're wanting to wear Army-style boots but you're not in the Army. CONS: ROPE CLIMBING!! My experience with trying to climb a rope with these was rough. The arch portion of my boot was very slick and I had a real hard time getting a firm foothold with these boots. Bottom line: Good boots. Don't buy them for Army use as of this date.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So comfortable Bought these a few weeks ago because I really needed an alternative to the issued boots. I ended up choosing these over the Nike SFB. The main draw for me had been the weight and flexibility of the C4T and true to its description, I honestly felt like I was lighter when I walked with them for the first time. They feel like Nike free runs. The first day it rubbed my achilles heel pretty raw but that was more to do with the fact that I just tied them way too tight but after that, it's heaven on my feet. They are so easy to run in and make rucking a worlds easier. I am a size 9 in women's so I got a 7.5 men's and it fits perfectly although I probably should've sized up and gotten an 8 because it's too narrow for most boot socks that I own so I need to go and buy some thinner socks now. Otherwise it's a great boot and I'm extremely happy with it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Comfortable I bought these boots upon returning from deployment. Right off the bat they were the most comfortable boots I'd ever worn. Within one day I bumped my toe on a piece of angle iron and a chunk came off with ease. I continued to wear them for the next year on another deployment. I loved them. Rucking, running, and gunning, they performed great! By the end of my deployment that same toe I had taken a chunk out of wore the rest of the way through. I bought a new pair of these boots and my first day wearing them, the seems connecting the leather and the mess burst. The third day, the other boot did the same. All in all, these boots feel great but I feel the quality is sub par. If you can get a decet pair, and good luck as I hear I am not the only one purchasing exploding boots, you won't be disappointed. If they can sort out there quality control, I'd love another pair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY THIS BOOT I am a soldier in the U.S. Army and I bought this boot several weeks ago after finishing Basic Training and AIT. It is a great boot and I was excited to finally be able to wear something other than the standard issue boots only to find out that the C4T is NO LONGER UNIFORM COMPLIANT! The Army in all it's infinite wisdom is changing the rules again and this boot is UNAUTHORIZED because it is made of synthetic materials and not cowhide leather.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very comfortable but NOT ARMY REGULATION approved. My husband loves these boots but as of this week, June 2, 2014, the U.S. Army has declared these boots not acceptable or within uniform regulation. It is unfortunate because these boots are very comfortable for those that are on their feet all day. Also, you have to downsize for a good fit. My husband usually wears a size 10 but 8.5 in Rockys is just right.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome boots, but ran into some issues I bought the boots about three weeks ago and immediately fell in love with them, but I ran into some issues within the first two days of wearing them. On the bottom of the boot near the ball of my foot there is extra rubber panelling, or pads, or extra soles (I don't know what to call them) but within the first hour of wearing the boots the rubber actually started to separate off the boot. After a few days of wearing them more of the sides started to pull away from the actual boot... Not wanting to return them I just got some super glue and glued them back onto the boots and have yet to have any more issues with them. Overall they're great boots, but just a few minor fixes and I was good to go.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light and comfortable I am really happy with them so far. I really wanted to wear them for some training and I still might be able to. They have worked really well for this year's archery season. Put some miles on them while up in the high country after muleys and elk. They are very comfortable to wear and have seemed to hold up so far. just have to see how the rest of the season goes to see if they will withstand some more abuse. I hope rocky continues to make this boot. So if there is a next time I purchase the C4T I can hopefully give them a 5 start rating.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very comfortable I bought these boots about three weeks ago because I needed more boots for some rucking I was about to do, about a week into wearing them some of the sole came off. Since then no more has come off. They are extremely lightweight and comfortable though. If you are extremely active with them on, they will probably last you somewhere between 6-8 months.
