Avenger Breaker Men's Composite Toe Electrical Hazard Puncture-Resistant Waterproof Work Hiker
Part of the Avenger Breaker collection, this men's work hiker transitions easily from indoor to outdoor work environments with waterproof construction and ASTM-certified safety features, including protection from sharps underfoot.
Just under 6 inches in height, this Breaker has a black full grain leather upper that is both durable and easy to maintain. Accents of green follow the lace-up design of this work hiker up to the lining of the generously padded tongue and collar. A lightweight, polyurethane midsole, in combination with a quality, removable insole supports and cushions, making this a boot you can comfortably wear all day. The waterproof membrane keeps feet dry and happy.
A composite safety toe meets or exceeds the ASTM F2413 standard for Impact & Compression as well as the electrical hazard rating. As an added benefit these work hikers also meet the ASTM standard for puncture resistance with a nonmetallic Lenzi plate, giving you an added layer of protection underfoot from sharps, such as nails. An industrial slip-resisting outsole that was Mark II tested in oily/wet conditions will help you stay afoot.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
