The Ripsaw by Avenger has the ASTM-certified features you need for compliance and the comfort you want for a full day on your feet.
This 8-inch, full-grain brown leather lace-up work boot has a padded collar and tongue with a soft, comfortable lining. Inside the boot, a waterproof membrane keeps feet comfortably dry. Additional comfort is found with a removable foam insole that recovers with each footstep.
For protection underfoot, a puncture-resistant plate, that meets the ASTM standard, protects the soles of feet from sharp objects, yet allows the boot to flex and remain comfortable to wear. A durable rubber outsole has a tread pattern with open channels that allows liquid to disperse, helping to keep you on your feet.
The Ripsaw also meets ASTM impact and compression guidelines with an aluminum protective toe that is lightweight and provides plenty of toe wiggle room. This boot also meets standards for electrical hazard resistance.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
