Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Static Dissipative
Footwear is constructed of materials that, when in contact with properly grounded floor surfaces, will safely discharge static build-up through the shoe to the floor. Our testing experience contributed to the SD standard established in Section 6 of the ANSI Z41 and carried over to the current ASTM standards.

This is a Great Boot!!Bought these for construction work. Very comfortable! I wear them everyday and I know my toes are protected. I would buy this boot again for sure!
Could you replace the insole with the superfeet orange insole and these still be static dissapating?

Never put in another type of insole into the shoe. Only use the specially designed Static Dissipating insole, otherwise the static electricity will not flow through the insole. If your insole becomes non-conductive you should replace the shoes immediately. If you do not your shoes will not dissipate static electricity.
