Carhartt Force Men's Carbon Nano Toe Static-Dissipative Work Shoe
With the Carhartt Force men's SD work shoe, you get a metal-free safety toe work shoe with a flat, slip-resisting wedge outsole and athletic comfort features.
This 3-inch work oxford has a lightweight, textured black knit upper with synthetic, abrasion-resisting heel and toe bumpers. Rising above the upper, In a contrasting grey color, is a Lycra collar that stretches to accommodate your foot. Laces then secure fit.
You will appreciate the properties of the protective carbon nano toe that has the strength to meet or exceed ASTM standards for impact and compression, yet is non-metallic, lighter and thinner than traditional protective toe materials. These work boots also are static dissipative, making them ideal for working around sensitive electronics. A wedge rubber outsole with flow channels resists slips, oils and chemicals.
A generous, shock-absorbing EVA midsole, also in grey, makes this oxford feel and perform like an athletic. Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Static Dissipative
Footwear is constructed of materials that, when in contact with properly grounded floor surfaces, will safely discharge static build-up through the shoe to the floor. Our testing experience contributed to the SD standard established in Section 6 of the ANSI Z41 and carried over to the current ASTM standards.
