McRae Industrial Hero Men's Aluminum Toe Electrical Hazard External Met Guard Work Boot

The Hercules work boot has a leather-lined external metatarsal guard made of impact-resistant plastic that protects the metatarsal area of the forefoot from compression injuries. Additional protection is provided with an aluminum toe cap that is both lightweight and roomy. The met guard and protective toe both meet ASTM F213 standards for impact and compression. The Hercules also meets ASTM requirements for electrical hazard resistance. Underfoot a durable MECHANIX rubber outsole is oil-, heat- and slip-resistant.
Six inches in height with a padded tongue and collar, this lace-up boot provides coverage and support to the ankle and Achilles areas. Industrial-grade, high-tenacity shoe laces adjust for fit and hold up to wear. Flexible cement construction affixes the upper to the outsole, creating a durable bond important for safety footwear. An interior triple-ribbed steel shank provides arch support and balance, helping with footing when walking over uneven ground or climbing up ladders.
The Hercules not only is strong, but it's also comfortable. A premium orthotic is included with each pair. Made with 3/4 inch of foam, the Ultra Cushion orthotic is breathable, removable and also washable. The boot is lined with a moisture-wicking and Agion® anti-microbial treated lining that will keep feet cool and reduce odor inside the boot.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Metatarsal Guard
Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards. -
