If you want to be comfortable while you are working hard, you want the Ariat Contender Steel Toe Work Hiker. The Contender offers all-day support and stability. This makes this hiker ideal for indoor factory, warehouse and general construction professionals.
To protect you, this boot has a steel toe that meets or exceeds the current ASTM impact and compression standard. It also meets the ASTM electrical hazard standard and provides a secondary protection against accidental electric charges. The Duratread™ oil- and slip-resistance rubber outsole will help you to keep sound footing.
The Contender has a brown leather and black mesh upper. To comfort your feet, the hiker has a cushioning EVA midsole and four-layer comfort footbed. A lightly padded collar allows for a comfortable fit around your ankle.
When all-day comfort is a key consideration in your work boot, consider the Ariat Contender.
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
