This Avenger Style: A7237 is designed more for an industrial slip environment than the kitchen, if you are looking for a true hospitality slip resistant boot you might want to look at boots more like Genuine Grip Style; GG7161, Slip Grip Style; 5333, Lehigh Safety Shoe Style; 6333 or Grabbers Style; G0019.
