Additional Information

Part of the Georgia Boot® brand, the Georgia Giant Waterproof Steel Toe Romeo Boot doesn't just provide safety, it's well-constructed and comfortable.

This boot is equipped with a steel toe and meets ASTM standards for protective toe and electrical hazard. You can focus on the job, without worrying about safety.

Made with the Georgia Waterproof system, this boot keeps water out while letting air in. Your feet stay dry, guaranteed.

The polyurethane "Georgia Giant" outsole resists oil, chemicals and slips. It's also non-marking, cushioning and flexible.

Goodyear® welt construction added durability.

Inside is steel shank, EVA midsole, mesh-covered cushion insole and high-performance lining, providing added comfort and stability.

This boot is made of full-grain leather with pull tabs.

    Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
    Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
    Waterproof
This product is built with quality waterproofing materials to keep you dry in wet environments.
    Georgia® Waterproof
Don't sweat it. Air gets in, even though water can't. Water can try to flow past this obstacle, but there's a 100% guarantee it won't.

Georgia Giant High Romeo Waterproof Steel Toe Boot is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny I work in an industry that requires us to take our shoes on and off, but still requires solid protection. Being that I’m in the PNW, water proof is an added bonus. I’ve had another pair and would still have them if the soles didn’t finally wear out after 3yrs. It’s the only reason I purchased another pair. I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth out of these

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most comfortable Steel toe boot ever. I am on my feet for on average 12 hours a day and walking almost 7 miles per day. This boat is fasr more comfortable than any others I have ever tried. A little tight at first, but give it time and you'll see the quality and comfort. Highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Two Firsts For Me and One For Georgia Boot! As a long time Georgia Boot (seven plus years) customer/wearer I decided to try a pair of GB's high top, steel toe Romeo boots. Previously I've had three pair of Hammers and one pair of low top Romeos. Heretofore I've had no problems with any of the the GB's that I've worn. When my high top Romeos arrived and I tried them on I noticed that the right boot had a very discernable squeak when I walked. Initially, I assumed the squeak was due to new leather and would go away as the leather loosened up through wearing. A week later the squeak was still present and even louder. I contacted GB customer service and the lady I spoke with said that it sounded as though the shank might be broken and that I needed to send the boots back. She sent me RMA info and a shipping label electronically and I returned the boots. Within about a week to 10 days (over the Christmas holiday season, I might add) I received another new pair of boots and these seem to be fine thus far. Having never had any trouble with GB, I was disappointed to have received a defective pair of boots however, GB stood behind their product and ultimately supplied me with a good pair of boots. I remain a happy GB customer!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Well built but not comfortable I have worn Georgia Boots for probably 10 years. Generally these are a great experience. I bought these boots 4 months ago and I don't like them. They are waterproof. I stand on concrete and steel platforms all day in the brewing industry. My feet hurt in these boots. After the first month I tried different insoles. Didn't help. I'm going to have to get new boots and I'm not sure if they're going to be Georgia Boot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best boots I've ever owned Not a big boot guy but needed steel toes for a job I was assigned at a railyard. These are by far my favorite I've ever had. Comfortable, durable, and the best looking steel toes I've seen yet. Also pretty warm and definitely waterproof. No complaints at all, 100% recommend them. Fit is true to size, maybe a little roomy but not much. I'm slightly bigger than a size 13 but the 13's fit excellently.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from EHHH. These boots had a tough two day break in period. There was an uncorfortable lump in the sole I had to walk out. I bought the wides which was a bad idea even though I have very wide feet, now I'm stuck wearing two pairs of socks, and they are still not snug the I would like lace-less boots. The spandex in the ankle is already blown out, it is most likely a manufacture defect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Comfortable Solid Made Boot I purchased these steel toes for my everyday safety shoe. They are very comfortable. The first time you put them on they are hard to get going with cotton socks but the second time and everytime after that it did not matter once the leather stretched. Waterproof as advertised up to the side mesh roughly 4". Size fit true I wear 11 and these fit perfectly.
