Rocky S2V GORE-TEX® Waterproof 400G Insulated Tactical Military Boot is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have a pair in tan and saw that these sage only had 3 stars. I'm in the army. Yes, these boots squeak on tile and marble floors when the soles are wet. They do not squeak in the field. The boots are warm and truly waterproof. If you will be in an office for most of your workday, these are not the best boots (some buddies love the c4 trainers for garrison though).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit and warm Had two winters now. Multiple mountain backpack trips of 20+ mi. Outstanding. Worn in -18F with mountaineer wool socks very comfortably. Also as high as 40F with little sweating. Vapor barrier socks are a plus for very cold and long excursions as liner is not removable. I upped one size from uninsulated model and fit w/thicker socks is great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lacking satisfaction after so much anticipation Bought these "waterproof" boots about a month ago hoping that they would perform as well as several reviews had stated. Unfortunately after the very first hike through tall wet grass both boots are wet through in the toe area and the outside of the left boot is wet all along the upper to lower seam stitching. Are you supposed to treat these boots with silicone or something before they are considered Waterproof? Also the inner lining (I think the thinsulate) tore partially out of one of the boots the first time I tried to pull my foot out and with time I'm sure will be coming completely out. Should probably be glued in better or something. Quality control issue maybe. Anyway, I love everything else about the boots, just wish they were actually fully waterproof.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and dry feet I broke these in on my way up mount Marcy. 16 miles and no blisters. My feet stayed dry though many puddles and were plenty warm standing around in 20 degrees with one pair of cotton socks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from comfortable I wanted to wait for a little bit before I did a review just to see how these boots are. I can honestly say these are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I wasn't looking forward to doing the boot break but there really wasn't any. I have been wearing them to work and hunting in everything from rain to wet snow and down to 9 degrees with a normal pair of socks and I at the moment I have no complaints. I wear size 11 tennis shoes and that's the size I got.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these Boots I am a K9 trainer and I am always looking for a great boot. My use of a boot is considered heavy. I've bounced between work style and military style boot. I am looking around no more. The Rocky S2VGTX are excellent.
