The Nano Toe is a premium composite material that is lightweight and durable without being thick and bulbus, so toes have plenty of room inside the boot. A composite plate embedded within the midsole of the boot protects the soles of feet from punctures associated with sharp objects underfoot, such as nails. And the VRTX 8000 meets or exceeds standards for resistance to electrical hazards, providing a level of protection from live wires.
Additional safety features include 3M Scotchlite reflective piping for visibility in low-light conditions and a heavy-duty rubber outsole. This outsole resists oils, chemicals and heat and is slip-resistant. A rugged tread pattern and defined heel, help you stay afoot whether you are walking across rubble or climbing up a hill or ladder.
Constructed of full-grain, seam-sealed waterproof leather the 8-inch upper of these work boots is both durable and breathable. Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
