Lehigh Safety Shoe Co. has been providing protective toe safety shoes since the early 1920's initially under the name of Lehigh Rubber and Leather Company.
There have been many upgrades in technology over time allowing for better Lehigh products. One of the key comfort related technology changes has allowed for the internal construction of some styles to be cored out in the manufacturing process to allow extra thick cushion insoles that can be used in them. Lehigh stock # 5326 is designed with those features in mind.
Lehigh stock # 5326 work boot is made with a high quality rugged rubber bottom that is actually baked or fused to the upper allowing this steel toe work boot to be extremely flexible.
In addition to meeting the highest ASTM F2413-05 Impact & Compression standards, it has an ASTM F2413-05 compliant internal metatarsal guard helping provide extra protection to the instep area along with the toes.
As a further addition, the Lehigh stock # 5326 work boot also complies with ASTM F2413-05 Electrical Hazard standards. This type of work boot is made with insulating bottoms providing secondary electrical hazard protection to those areas dealing with open circuits under dry conditions, but also can be worn in work areas requiring only basic protective toe work boots.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Metatarsal Guard
Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards.
Power Cushion
Constructed with an extra thick, free-breathing material, the Power Cushion insole aids in the fight against fatigue by relieving skeletal stress, muscle cramps and chronic back disorders. The Power Cushion is designed with a contour shape that cradles the heel and arch to gently support the foot. -
