Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.

The notes for these boots say that they fit one size small. I had my local show store with wings measure my feet and got a supposedly more accurate measurement than with just a Brannock device. Would I order for that measure fit, or one size larger?

The Royer Composite Toe CSA Approved Puncture-Resistant Gore-Tex Waterproof Boot Style: ROY109900 runs true to size but only comes in a 3E width which is wider than a normal Wide. I would suggest if you order this boot you try the size that you always wear that feels comfortable to you. I also always recommend that when your boots arrive you try them on in the comfort of your own home to make sure that the fit & comfort is what you desire.
