Thorogood I-MET2 Men's 11-Inch Internal Metatarsal Composite Toe Electrical Hazard Work Boot
If you are seeking a durable leather work boot with metatarsal protection, then look no further. Meet the I-MET2 work boot by Thorogood. This 11-inch pull-on version has a composite toe and an internal metatarsal guard that meet the current ASTM standards. This boot also meets the ASTM standards for electrical hazard.
The upper of this Thorogood boot is constructed with full-grain leather in a black walnut color. The inside is lined with a moisture wicking comfort weave. To add further comfort there is a removable full-length single density PU footbed. An engineered composite shank will ensure that you have steady footing and helps deliver support to your foot's arch. A Goodyear Storm welt affixes the upper to a I-MET2 Chevron outsole with defined heel. Durable and safe, this I-MET2 from Thorogood is job-ready.-
Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Metatarsal Guard
Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards.
