The Ariat Workhog XT Defy H2O men's work boot gives you the pull-on convenience you want with the safety toe and waterproof construction you need on the worksite.
These boots go on easy with innovative construction. A single pull tab affixed to the back, rather than to each side, of these pull-ons hints at the innovate construction of these 11-inch boots. For foot placement a narrow stretch panel in the front of the boot flexes and the U-Turn® entry system stretches, accommodating wide feet and/or high arches. And then retracts back into place, securing fit.
The Defy H2O is waterproof. A waterproof full-grain leather upper in combination with Waterproof Pro construction keep the elements out and feet dry. Additional comfort is provided via Ariat's ATS Max® platform. This platform gives you a removable Rebound insole with PU midsole that delivers lightweight, shock-absorbing cushioning. Confidence comes with an extra-wide shank that provides maximum side-to-side stability in harsh outdoor work environments. Quality Goodyear Welt construction holds up to hard wear.
This work boot meets ASTM F2413 I/75 C/75 protective toe classification with a carbon safety toe that is lightweight and gives this round toe boot an eye-pleasing profile. The Defy also meets ASTM standards for electrical hazard resistance. Underfoot the Duratreadâ„¢ rubber outsole is practical with a self-cleaning, non-tracking tread design that also is oil- and slip-resisting. And a 90-degree heel helps with climbing.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75

Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
