LaCrosse Alpha Range Men's Composite Toe Metatarsal Puncture-Resisting Insulated Waterproof Rubber Boot
The men's Alpha Range by LaCrosse combines premium rubber with neoprene giving you a versatile work boot that also delivers on safety with ASTM-certified protective features.
These 14-inch black waterproof work boots contain ZXT high grade rubber, making them ozone and tear resistant, yet flexible. A Neoprene gusset expands to accommodate a range of calf sizes and then conveniently cinches into place. You can also roll down the upper of these boots to adjust comfort. Insulated with 5 mm of Neoprene, the Alpha Range keep feet comfortably warm, achieving a manufacturer's recommended comfort zone of -20 to 60-degrees F. A polyester jersey liner dries quickly and wicks away sweat, promoting a healthy interior environment for feet.
This Alpha Range meets or exceeds ASTM standards with protective features that surround the foot. A composite material protects toes, a floating metatarsal guard provides protects the tops of feet and a puncture-resisting midsole protects the bottom of feet from sharps. And these knee boots also are electrical hazard resisting.
Vulcanized construction ensures these boots remain reliably watertight and held together. Integrated within the boot is a convenient kick-off plate that helps you remove these boots after a long day. The all arounder outsole is designed for mud and muck, shedding debris with open channels, yet gripping with large lugs.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
Metatarsal Guard
Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards.
