One of the sturdiest Lehigh shoes to date has been Lehigh 6" Work Boots, style #1527BA. They have an extremely rugged Vibram® rubber outsole that has excellent heat resistance and chip resistance.
The outsole of these men's work boots also has a right-angled heel breast that can be an asset for those working in railroad or other rung-climbing work environments.
In addition to meeting the highest ASTM F2413-05 Impact & Compression standards, Lehigh 6" Steel Toe Work Boots also comply with ASTM F2413-05 Electrical Hazard standards. These steel toe boots are made with insulating bottoms, providing secondary electrical hazard protection to those areas dealing with open circuits under dry conditions, but also can be worn in work areas requiring only basic protective toe work boots.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
