Ariat RigTEK CSA Men's 8-inch Composite Toe Electrical Hazard Puncture-Resisting Waterproof Work Boot
Tough work meets Western style in the Ariat RigTEK CSA work boot. Meeting both American and Canadian standards for safety, go where the job takes you. This 8-inch lace-up work boot has has Waterproof Pro construction, with welt construction, a waterproof full-grain leather upper with a waterproof membrane to keep moisture out and keep your feet dry. Ariat ATS technology provides exceptional support, stability and comfort. These boot are built on the RigTek Rebound Platform, featuring a lightweight PU sole for cushioning and durability. The outsole is slip-resisting to ASTM F3445 standard, has a defined heel and a lug tread that makes it an ideal boot for the oilfield. A composite safety toe meets the ASTM F2413 I/75 C/75 protective toe classification and electrical and puncture-resisting standards. Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.

CSA Approved Soles that provide electric shock resistance

CSA Approved - Sole Puncture Protection with Grade 1 Protective Toe
Grade 1 protective toe will withstand up to 125 joules (50 lbs) dropped from 0.6 m. Sole puncture protection is designed to withstand a force of not less than 1200 Newtons (270 lbs) and resist cracking after being subjected to 1.5 million flexes. -
