With the HOSS Slag, you get a pull-on loaded with safety features. ASTM F2413-certified safety features include an XRD material internal metatarsal guard, non-metallic composite safety toe and underfoot electrical hazard and puncture-resisting technologies. Generous pockets help you pull on these 11-inch boots. A genuine leather upper is stitched with heat-resisting thread. Cemented to the upper is an EVA midsole with durable rubber outsole that is slip-resisting to the ASTM F3445-21 SR on dry and wet surfaces. Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
Metatarsal Guard
Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards.
Waterproof
This product is built with quality waterproofing materials to keep you dry in wet environments.
Non-metallic
