Underfoot an oil- and slip-resisting rubber outsole has an outsole tread made for indoor/outdoor transitions and passes testing for ASTM SRO. And this outsole can withstand up to 500 degree F of heat for a short period of time. For comfort, this Merrell style has a weight-reducing EVA midsole, moisture and odor mitigating Cleansport NXT lining, a COMFORTBASE removable footbed and a nylon shank for arch support.
