Twisted X Men's 8-Inch Nano Toe Puncture-Resisting Electrical Hazard Waterproof Work Boot
Twisted X creates quality, handcrafted footwear with traditional profiles and innovative comfort features. Available in distressed saddle leather, this 8-inch lace-up boot is lined with a waterproof membrane to keep feet dry. The lining and footbed contain earth-friendly materials. A Blend85 footbed contains 85-percent recycled foam and also feature an ecoTWEED lining, which is made from recycled plastic bottles. These boots have a nano composite protective toe and supply underfoot puncture and electrical hazard resistance to ASTM F2413 standards. Double-stitched storm-welt construction affixes a rubber outsole enhanced to meet standards for oily and slip in work footwear, providing better grip. And this boot has a defined heel for climbing. Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
