This black buffalo leather work boot meets safety standards for both CSA and ASTM. The safety toe shields you from as much as 75 pounds of impact or compression. It meets the CSA and ASTM requirement.
The footwear also has a comfortable, yes comfortable, external metatarsal guard. The REALFLEX™ metatarsal protector is designed to increase comfort when you walk or squat. It meets the ASTM standard.
This black boot is puncture-resistant, and it has electric hazard resistance. It meets the ASTM and CSA standards for both of these features.
The men's boot features tough flame-resistant Kevlar® thread and an oil-resistant, slip-resistant rubber sole that's light and flexible. A molded TPU toe guard protects your steel toe work boot from tears and scuffs, giving it added durability.
For comfort, features include a removable low-density PU footbed. The TAIBRELLE® lining is extremely durable, premium nylon.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
Metatarsal Guard
Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards.
CSA Approved Soles that provide electric shock resistance
Soles that provide electric shock resistance. Such certified footwear contains a sole and heel design assembly that, at the point of manufacturing, has electrical insulating properties.
CSA Approved - Sole Puncture Protection with Grade 1 Protective Toe
Grade 1 protective toe will withstand up to 125 joules (50 lbs) dropped from 0.6 m. Sole puncture protection is designed to withstand a force of not less than 1200 Newtons (270 lbs) and resist cracking after being subjected to 1.5 million flexes.
